The North Shore Railroad Company & Affiliates (North Shore Railroad) will be hosting…

America’s 250th Celebration Train Rides

on

September 12, 2026

10am | Noon | 2PM | 4pm

Danville Middle School

These hour-long rides will board at the Danville Middle School, travel north, turn after the Rupert railroad bridge, and return to Danville - being pulled by NSHR 2238 (Semiquincentennial Locomotive).

Tickets cost: $20/seat

(Children two years old or younger, who will be riding on a lap for the entire duration of the trip, will be permitted to ride for free. One lap rider per paid adult.)

NSHR will also be using NSHR 2238 in passenger rides on Saturday, September 12th, in conjunction with Danville Heritage Festival - with an emphasis on America’s 250th Celebrations.

Physical tickets are not mailed or emailed. There will be a will-call tent for picking up admission wristbands - at the event. 

All sales are final. No refunds or returns.
